My 14 year old son went in for a first time appointment for a back adjustment and immediately afterward experienced extreme fatigue, which has carried over to today (the next day after treatment).  Is there a correlation between the two?

    There are nueroreceptive chemicals released with a chiropractic adjust that may cause immediate decrease in pain, calming sensation, etc.  Rarely will the effects last for days.  Your son may be coming down with a cold or just fatigued from from normal daily life.  If the fatigue persists for more than a week you may want to bring him to your family physician for a check up.
