Questionalright, sorry about all the questions at once. Im sure im making this too complicated...
Ive been told that lifting should be done naturally according to ones structure. Ive also been told proper back posture is important...I guess Im looking for a happy medium?
I dont think anyone has perfect posture just like they dont have perfect anything, and my posture I would say is not bad. Considering my goal is to get it as straight as possible, but also not being too tight...what do I do?
I cant seem to make it as straight as I want to be without feeling like im putting alot of strain on my back...more static strain and more strain than when I do deadlifts wrong. I mean, I think I know to just try to make my back straight when doing any lift, but relaxed as possible too...however, when im sitting around I cant feel relaxed very easily while trying to keep it straight. What do I do?
and what's the overall method to focusing on back posture...aligning ankles with shoulders with ears basically? Because the arching of the back method and puffing chest out seems to me to be easily misunderstood as overarching backwards
thanks
AnswerHello Jeff,
You may want to see a doctor of chiropractic for a exam. You have to realize everyone is biomechanically different! Improper postioning for one person maybe correct for another. A exam of your spine and determining the weaknesses along the spine will determine what areas to strengthen and what exercises to avoid. I'm sure you will have great success with this and will point you in the right direction for a life long strong spine. After the exam your questions can be answered specifically and more acurately for your particular spine.
When you go to the gym have a experieced Trainer watch your form.
Let me know how it goes.
