Hi....does chiropractic fix this problem up? Also, have you heard of others with this? My husband just thinks it is indigestion and when I carry heavy things the indigestion gets activated more.  Sometimes it does feel like indigestion and it activates right after eating food...Well, maybe it is indigestion and a nerve thing...Angie

Angie,  you are confusing cure with help.

Chiropractic is never a cure.  Please understand me when I say this.  Chiropractic is not like medicine, where one thing has a 'cure' and another thing has a different 'cure.'

The stomach can be affected by spinal nerves in such a way that they do not operate the way that they are supposed to.  If this is what is going on, then ONLY by addressing the spine will you see a change.  If this is not what is going on, then treating the spine will not make this correction.  That is why I said that you should be checked by someone who could see and touch you.

Many people confuse what chiropractic is.  It is simply the means of restoring proper nerve flow by removing interference to that flow (subluxation), and letting nature work unimpeded.  In your case, good stomachs don't hurt, do they.  Thus if your stomach hurts, it can't be right.  Therefore, it is possible, probable even, that something along that nerve pathway is impeded, and if so, may be causing the problem.  But the only way to tell is to actually look.
