QuestionI was wondering what are some majors that you recommend to get for my undergrad if I'm interested in doing what you do?
AnswerHmmm, the best answer for you is that you should write the chiropractic schools and ask for their prerequisites. Things have chaged a lot in the past decade for the schools, but in general, all of the health sciences have the same pre reqs. Chiropractic, medicine, veterinary science, osteopathy and pharmacy all have the same basic sets of undergraduate studies, and even follow the same course line for the first two years of graduate school, but then they sharply divide into special studies. Typical undergraduate degrees are general science, pre med, biology, anatomy, biochemistry and the like. My own degrees were in general science, and I have enough credits for additional undergraduate degrees in anatomy and psychology.
