QuestionDear dr dowell.im a 31 yr old man .5ft10and im in no pain at all.my wife is 5ft8.over a 4 month period ive been slowly shrinking.i knew it wene i lost an inch but my wife seen it wene in a months time i was eye level with her.and she giggled.but i didnt.ive been 2 a chiropractor about it and the woman gave me endless tests.my spine is fine my bones are getting smaller she said but there ok wich she said was amazing.well its august 1st and i sunk below my wifes hight.im the woman measured me at 5ft6.and like i said im in no pain wich is not rite my doctor said.ive lost 21 pounds in weight and my wife is buying my clothes in the boys department now.but those are the only sypthoms.im waisting away and no one can do nothing.i finally seen a orthopedic and she said the same thing i shouldnt be shrinking.i know how silly i must seem 2 you and you probebly never ran across this befor but i dont no were else or what to do.i am 2 a point know were the stress is bad.i with every inch i lose my manhood seems 2 be shrinking rite along with it.im dependant 2 my wife now and wont let her leave me alone.she doesnt mind.my 14 yr old baby girl is eye level with me now and gigles at me.ofcourse she s growing and im shrinking and im waiting 4 the day i sink below her hight.please cynthia.can you tell me anything about this nightmare im going thru?or tell me a place 2 go.i feel puny and obsured.theres a reason 4 everything but not wene your shrinking.if theres anything anything you can tell me i would be so greatfull.im unanployed now cuase i dont want the poeple at work watching me grow smallerso my wife is now providing 4 my family.thank you so much ms dowell.and i hope you can help me and if not help me except that the shrinking process may not stop.its been more frustrating then anything .thank you dr . shawn

You should see specialist; I would see an oncologist. It is very unsual to lose so much bone height. Lab tests will reveal any hidden causes. If your claims are valid, a wieght loss, with or without pain really should be looked at by a cancer specialist.
