QuestionI woke up in the middle of the night about 2 1/2 weeks ago with a sharp pain in the middle of my back and I could barely move or breath without pain. I visited a Chriropractor the next morning and 3 ribs had popped out of place on the left side so he adjusted me - since then I have been back 6 times for adjustments, have gone to a massage therapist and have x-rays done by an internist with no results. Is there anything else that should be done to keep my ribs in place? I have been icing and taking Advil everyday since. Help!
AnswerI guess the best place to start it to discover why they do not stay in place. I am assuming that the chiropractor can put them back, but they do not stay, of course. Theory dictates that one of six things are happening to cause it to keep doing this: 1-structural problems caused by recent trauma or misuse 2-electomagnetic disturbances 3-nutritional deficiency 3-abnormal emotional patterns 4-allergies 5-toxins 6-heavy metals. I would see if one of these things is perpetuating your circumstance and then adjust the ribs again.
