Delayed treatment to max out insurance

Question
Fit 45yr woman.  I've been treated for 2 mos(15 visits) for back, neck and foot pain.  My diagnosis was misaligned hip, plantar fasciitis and muscle tightness to be treated with orthotics, deep tissue massage, and exercise.  Can you explain why he delayed until today to make an excruciatingly painful adjustment to my left arch?  I feel strung along to max out my 20 insured visits.

Answer
No I can't and I'm not being facetious. While you sound very angry and hurting, you are and must be your own best advocate. I would make another appointment making it clear when you make the appointment, you need time to ask some questions BEFORE you procede with any further treatment.  Get your treatment plan explained, determine whether the short term goals have been met and whether or not you are on-track for the long term. 15 treatments in 2 months is not out of the standard of practice if they have been effective, though re-evaluation after 4 weeks or 10-12 treatments is about right. I hardly 'adjust' extremities, so my comments regarding that aspect would be less than expert. I don't understand feeling "strung out" when it was you who chose to return 14 times if you were dis-satisfied with the results.
