i have been having severe foot pain for a while. i work a lot standing. a month ago i think i injured my back doing excercise. i now have severe numbness in my
left thigh and left butt and a little in my left calf and feet. now i also have numbness and tingling feeling in both the whole butt. what could it be?

Hi anonymouskhicha,

It sounds as if you have a pretty classic sciatica problem.  Lower spine injury that affects the nerves going to the entire lower extremity.  Thus, you can get symptoms all the way down.

You should consult with a Chiropractic doctor ASAP.  They can help you with the conservative care (manipulation, therapy, exercise, advice on postures, etc.) and refer you for consultation if more aggressive means are indicated.

The longer you wait the more likely it is to become chronic.
