QuestionQUESTION: I started to play lacrosse again. I know you use your wrist. But is there anyway to damage your wrist while playing lacrosse? Because you rotate it back and forth?
Please keep terms simple. I'm only 14
ANSWER: Hey! It's nice to see a Lax question, I also play lacrosse and I teach lacrosse as well. Did you get checked, or was there an actual injury or is this just from cradling the stick? Although you can do exercises to strengthen your forearms, hands, and wrists, you actually work the muscles used in the sport by practicing and playing the sport. If you have not played for a while and then are getting back into it, yes it is possible to aggravate your wrist area initially, but it should not be anything major. Are you having a lot of difficulty holding the stick, or when cradling, or when catching or throwing?

QUESTION: yes i arleday have one but thank you. What do Chiropractors do for a living? like do they masage your back, neck or stuff?
AnswerNo, chiropractors do not massage, that is what massage therapists do. A Doctor of Chiropractic is specially trained to locate and to correct vertebral subluxations which interfere with the mental impulse and cause dis-ease in the body. When one of the top two vertebrae (Atlas or Axis) are in a position which is misaligned, it can put pressure on the brainstem or spinal cord and cause neuronal disturbances which cause abnormal cellular function and sickness and disease and symptoms of nearly any kind may result. We do not treat any symptoms whatsoever including back pain, we simply correct the cause of your health problems without drugs, injections, or surgeries of any type. It is a lot of fun to help people get well every day, which is what medicine fails to do. I love my job/life/career!
