Question
A few of months ago I fell off a razor scooter playing with my 9 yr. old daughter, I was going downhill pretty fast and fell rolling a couple of times.Being that I don't have any health insurance at this time I've just dealt with the pain. The pain is in my upper shoulder,deltoid including. Is this my rotater cuff? Or do you think it is my tendons between my deltoid and shoulder? Being stupid I thought this pain would go away in time but its been 3 months now and no change. Hard to sleep. I am hoping I will get health insurance soon and get some x-rays, in the meantime, am I damaging it too much? Please give me your thoughts and anything I could do before I get health insurance.   Thanks, Jeff

First, I would like to apologize for my tardiness in answering.  There was a death in our family and I have been away from the computer.
Without an exam, it is hard to tell if it is rotator cuff.  But, you can try ice massage.  Take a bare ice cube, and rub it on the area for 3-4 minutes, until it goes numb.  Sometimes that is enough to get the healing back on track.
