QuestionHello, I had a test called the BioPhotonic Scanner that is to measure antioxidant levels in the body. It uses a blue laser where you put your hand over it for about 1 1/2 minutes. After the test, my arm felt warm. An hour or so later, I had pins and needles in my fingers, my arm was warmer to the touch, the muscles felt tighter and weak. This was two days ago and it hasn't gotten better. The doc that did the test said it was not possible. All I know is my arm was fine when I got there and isn't now. The laser is a 473 nm laser. What do you think happened and what can I do to get this better? My fingers have an aching, pins and needles and my arm feels heavy and sore to the touch in the muscles. Thank you kindly for any suggestions.
AnswerI don't think the scanner had anything to do with it. It is possible you were in a position that pressed on a nerve. Nerves are quick to respond and give a reaction (numbness, tingling, etc), but slow to respond when the pressure is removed. If you have a chiropractor, you may want to see him or her to be evaluated. Now, as far as the photonic scanner, I would take the results with a grain of salt. i personally score a 4000 on it, and I have an excellent diet. You can also defeat the scanner and make it score high by using a hand cream with vitamin A in it before hand. It is usually used as a marketing tool to sell you very high priced supplements.
