why when i lay down flat on my back the room spins.i get dizzy then it stops after a couple of minutes?

Hi Lis,

Because there is a good possibility you have loose bodies called otoliths in the ear or a viral condition or other condition such as BPV (Benign Postural Vertigo). At this point it is impossible to diagnose without direct examination, I suggest you see a neurologist or Chiropractor.
