i personally have no opposition to chiropractors, i use them. i am a college student and for English i am doing a research paper on why doctors oppose chiropractic care. i cant find anything on it. i have had doctors tell me that they don't approve but without any reason. whatever you say will not change my opinion, i go for my knee and my back to get it adjusted and it feels awesome. i just really need some insight on why they feel that way. by the way, i am in support of chiropractic care in my paper and am proving that what they say is wrong but first i need some information on the doctors opinions. i really need help. you could refer me to searches or websites but at my school most of the internet is blocked so i probably cant view it.

Resistance to chiropractic today by some members of the medical profession largely has to do with the minority of the chiropractic profession that does not follow evidence-based treatment methods. These chiropractors may make claims or recommend a treatment approach that may not have enough (or any) research or evidence to support them.

Most chiropractors, however, are concerned with the diagnosis and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Evidence-based chiropractors base their treatments on the best available research to validate their treatment approaches. Many chiropractors today work in cooperation with other health professionals, including medical doctors, and contribute to the existing body of research that demonstrates the benefit of spinal manipulation and soft tissue manipulation for a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
