My boyfriend often complains about a burning sensation in his legs and pains as well. he also has pains in his knees sometimes. he is a young guy he is only 26 so i am wondering what could be the problem. i have rub his legs every night with icy hot just to ease the pain for him to sleep. please let me know what this good be or what he should do

He is pretty young...could be sciatica from a disc protrusion...could be nerve canal compromise from an old injury, tumor, or infection.  He really needs to get a physical exam by a chiropractor, orthopedist, physiatrist, or neurologist to rule out anything bad, check his reflexes, skin sensation, primary muscle strengths, etc.  If his condition is fairly new and getting progressively worse, then please get him to a doctor immediately.
