Question
I have been experiencing shoulder and upper back pain in my upper left sholder and back for about 2 weeks.  My left arm and shoulder tend to burn and tingle at certain times.  My medical dr. put me on celebrex almost 2 weeks ago, and it doesn't help at all.  Could I benefit from a chiropractor visit?

Hi Jane,

You have not mentioned a diagnosis or any diagnostic testing that has been performed.  This information, or lack thereof, would help.

The odds are very good that chiropractic care could help.  Often there are mechanical problems that we can iron out.  

The shoulder may have restrictions in several locations.  Besides the main joint there are multiple shoulder blade articulations, the ribs and intercostal spaces, and (very likely) trigger points in and around each of those structures.  

All of these can contribute to your problem.
