Hyperactive Joints.

Question
Hi,
I have read your answer to a woman asking about her hyperactive joints and it really helped, you mentioned if she didnt stop clicking she would get plastic deformation of the joint. Could you tell me what it is and how (other than to stop clicking) i could prevent myself getting it. I am 16 and got diagnosed with hyperactive joints about 4 years ago and it has got excedingly worse since then, i feel my joints clicking on their own sometimes, especially in the morning, i have been to the doctors numerous amount of times but they seem to be more and more breif every time i go, could you help me in telling me when if ever it will ease and if there is anything i can do or take to release even some of the pain.
Thanks,
Stacey.

Answer
Hello Stacy,

Lifting weights and consistent exercise biking (low impact) etc, help stabilize the joints of the body.  Each joint has a joint capsule which is made of ligaments around the joint, muscles and tendons cross over the joint.  So strengthening the muscles essentially tightens your joints and helps prevent instability.

Have a great day,
