QuestionHi,
I'm 17 years old and about a year ago I had surgery to correct cavovarus in my right foot. The surgery went well but I'm still having pain in my ankle since the surgery and my ankle is very stiff. My doctor said the loss of motion in my ankle can be from weak muscles but he's not sure what's causing the pain. It's a possibility I may have Charcot marie tooth but they are not sure. I was wondering if seeing a chiropractor would help.
Thank you
AnswerA chiropractor can help from the aspect that, if there is a misalignment in the foot, they can correct it. You want to find a chiropractor that deals with extremities. They should be able to assess and treat this, as well as rehab the injury to make it more of a long term fix.
