Possible Nerve Damage??

Question
Dear John,

I've seen the doctor a couple of times, first i got muscle relaxers, and i finally got blood drawn to see if that's the cause, but maybe it would be better if i know which direction to look for answers (chiropractic, neurology, etc.)

My problem is for 4 years i've had a strange cracking sensation, that seems to have grown to cover my whole body. My neck, arms (even the middle of my arms), knees, legs, ankles, lower back, middle back, upper back, and sometimes my cranium, and behind my ears. It's basically the same sound/feeling everywhere. And it mostly happens when im stiff, but it could happen anytime anyday.
Also, in my head area, every once in a while there is a splashing sound/like juice spilling.

Im concerned it may be prestroke stuff or arthritis or worse. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Answer
Jady,

I do not think you have simple case of nerve damage. The description you give seems that your issue is an auto immune process. This occurs when your body in a sense starts to attack it's own cells.

I suggest you seek care with someone who practices functional medicine and get more blood work done. The bloodwork you need would be the type that shows auto immune tags/markers.

There is a group of chiropractors that practice this type of care listed at www.lifechangingcare.com but before you make an appointment please discuss your issues and see if it will be something the doctor is willing to work with.

If you cannot locate a chiropractor then your next best bet would be a rheumatologist because they understand auto immune disease much better than a general practice MD.

I think it is imperative that you get this diagnosed and get under care as this condition only seems to be getting worse.

Yours in health
