back/shoulder pain

Question
When I was a kid I fell 5-6 feet and landed head first, and my back bent so that my butt touched the back of my head. This was when I was between 11-13 years old. When I first got up I was spitting up blood, and could barely walk. I soaked in the tub for a hour and was perfectly fine and running around after that. 4-5 years ago I was in a car crash on the Florida turnpike coming from Miami. We were doing 90, and the other person was doing a bit more. They ran us off the road when they tried to switch lanes. It had been raining, so we still hit the guard rail going between 80-90mph. For a few months after that I was fine. Then as I walked more my back started to hurt more. It feels like a stabing pain that is made unbarable by the cold. It feels to be under my shoulder blade, and goes to my spine. I went to the hospital after I couldn't walk to work anymore, which was a 45 minute walk to and from work. They took a x-ray, and they said that the muscle that runs there was torn all the way down towards my left knee. I went to a docter some, and they put me on muscle relaxers so I could sleep, and Ibuprofen to help keep it from getting inflamed. He told me to try and keep it stretch so that way the muscle would heal, and I did all the things he asked. I stoped walking to work, and I have a sit down job. So its been ok. It only got bad if I lifted something, or walked for to long. I just got a promotion at work, and I have to walk for 8 hours a day. I can not afford to lose this promotion, and need some idea of what this could be caused by now. Because the doctor said it shoulda healed in 6 months, and its been way passed that and it is getting worse. Also sense then my neck will twitch, sometimes slightly sometimes my whole head will move. It is also getting worse as the pain gets worse.

Answer
yes , this is a chiropractic case. tell your doctor (chiro) your history and trauma. you received bad advice if they told you a muscle was torn from an xray. go see a qualified chiropractor. If you tell me where you live in miami,  i can recommend someone good.
