QuestionI am 65 years old. About a month ago I was working in my garden and sat back on my heels. Nothing hurt, no pain at all. The next day my knee was warm and somewhat swollen. I never really had any pain but I could not bend my leg behind me - heal to waist. The swelling went away, still no pain but now I have a clicking sound in my knee when I walk. Is it just "old age" or do I need to have it checked out by a physician?
AnswerI would have you knee evaluated by a chiropractor, physical therapist, or orthopedic physician. You may have damaged a ligament or your meniscus. Or even still it may have been an old injury that you just never felt until now.
Best of Luck
