QuestionI am 44., on wairfern for 5 years because of TVT and PE., last week Inr was 4.4; Have been had shoulder pain since mid of 2009, couldn't reach the back of my body, diagnosed as frozen shoulder, if you don't move it, no pain, getting worse in the February. Started physical therapy since April, then self practice, then dull pain started, non stop, hard to sleep, from shoulder and shoulder blade to upper left arm (only left shoulder), cold or heat pad wouldn't help. Shoulder motion improved a little. Last wendesday started feeling chilly cold after got home (Neck felt stiff in the past days). The following morning had low fever through the whole day, but one arm pit measure (bad arm), gave 100.4, other gave out 97. Had been lying in bed but a few times during the day went to bathroom and had some food, every time I stood up felt a little dizzy. At about 5pm, went to kitchen to get some juice, siiting at table, started to feel more dizzy, after a few seconds, felt lost consciousness briefly, then immediately started hand shaking (never happened before), then passed out while sitting in the chair, husband took a few seconds and dragged me to the floor on back, then I woke up quickly, body sweating, after a few moment, felt better, but tired. After another moment, sat up, remeasured, the fever completely gone, neck stiffness gone, the shoulder and arm pain gone, but arm couldn't reach as far as I could before the pass out. On Friday, normal., On Saturday morning, arm reaching ability getting worse, but in the afternoon back to before, then the pain started again. On Sunday while I am writing,, the whole day feel tired, pain through to the arm remains.
So what really caused the pass out, lack of oxgen because of high INR, neck stiffness, shoulder problem, or what? Why some symptom imprioved after the pass out? What exam should I take? What's the potential danger?
Thanks,
Anna
P.s. Not on other medications. Healthy in general.
AnswerAnna,
It is my opinion you have two different conditions and you should seek medical attention/workup for the dizzyness and passing out. I would not treat you until you had a complete physical and bloodwork. There is too much happening for you to undergo any chiropractic treatment w/o said medical work up. I can only hope that you have reported these issues to your medical doctor
Once you have the dizzyness under control you might consider havinr Manipulation under anesthesia for your shoulder as well as your cervical spine.
