QuestionI have an unusual question that I can't find any help on yet. My rib cage on both sides all around feel like a deep bruise constantly. It feels like when you rub on lymph nodes and they burn and sting - like you're getting a shot. If I touch my rib cage under my breasts, including the skin and belly fat (I'm a little overweight) it is so painful to the touch, much less put any pressure on it. I had an ultra sound one time on my gallbladder and the tech almost killed me just running the instrument over my rib cage. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and I do have a bad back. I guess I've had the Hashimoto's for awhile now and didn't know it, but it has really been acting up since my father's death about one year ago. I was wondering if this could be related to the Hashimoto's, which I am treating with raw thyroid, or could this be back related? I was also wondering if it has become Fibromyalgia. I have had a rib spasm on the right side all my life, but never like this. I also have gallbladder trouble. Now my right hip is bothering me...ugh! I have always been very active and try to keep up but it is getting more and more difficult to pretend like I'm not in constant pain. I don't even know what kind of doctor to begin with. I've asked every doctor I've been to and every Herbalist and Massage therapy and no one has ever heard of ribs hurting this bad. They all say it must be cartilage related, but not sure. Any ideas on where to start?
AnswerDenise,
It is my opinion that you have more than one thing going on with your health. Both Hasimoto's and fibromyalgia or a combination of both could be giving you the symptoms you are having. This question is quite complex to answer here in this venue but there is help for you out there. I utilize function blood chemistry and exercise with oxygen to help my patients with fibromyalgia. Try to find a doctor close to you by starting at www.lifechangingcare.com and go to www.thyroidbook.com and buy that book!!! If you find thhe chiropractor on life changing care find out if they practice with EWOT exercise with oxygen and functional blood chemistry.
Hope this helps!!
