intercostal problems?

Question
I used to work a job that required alot of repetitive lifting.I was diagnosed with two herniated discs in my back. One was lower thoracic, the other was in the lumbar region.I have been recovering well from them. Lately it seems that when I use my arms over my head alot I begin to feel almost like an inflammation feeling in my lower ribs. When I touch certain places on my ribs I feel a little pain that seems to come and go.I also feel these tender spots in certain areas of the chest and lower sternum usually around the rib joints.Sometimes the discomfort moves around the lower ribs to the back as well.Certain postures seem to aggravate these symptoms to.I was wondering if it could be an intercostal strain, some rib problems. It has been going on for around two months.Any help would be appreciated!!

Answer
Rick,

I would highly suggest seeing a chiropractor in your area and giving him or her about 2-3 months.  If you don't get better in that time then contact me again and we'll see what you would need to do.
You should be fine if you go to a good chiro.
