Shoulder pain after driving

Question
Hi,
I have been experiencing pain in my left shoulder for about
a month now. My drive to and from school altogether takes 30
minutes every day. I drive with only my left hand on the
wheel. In the beginning, I had been making turns with only
the left arm, but after a week or so, it began aching, so I
started using both while turning. I still steer with the
left arm while driving straight forward. It seems that I
only have the terrible pain in my shoulder after driving,
not during. It hurts when I move the shoulder while my arm
is in the backwards "L" position (when it's bent and
parallel with my torso), not when it's stretched out, then
the pain is very little. What can I do myself to remove this
pain, without having to pay for medication or a massage? Of
course, if there is nothing I can do, I might have to resort
to that.

Please help me.

Sincerely,
Mikolaj

Answer
it sounds like you may have injured your shoulder prior to this. it could be a few things, and all require medical help. you can try over the counter pain killers but that will just cover up your symptoms not fix your shoulder.
it could be rotator cuff injury
it could be a shoulder anterior misalignment
it could be a pinched nerve in the spine.
tough to say without looking at you.
if your in ny feel free to contact me.
