QuestionI have had headaches on and off multiple times a day for the last four months. I've gone to the doctor and chiropractor but nothing seems to work. X rays show that my lower spine is turned to the side not in an s or c just twisted so its pointed towards my side. Also the top of my spine in my neck is fund into an upside down L. I recently lost my insurance and can't afford to go to the doctor is there anything I can do or get to help with the pain and discomfort? I'm 22 years old and a CNA. at a nursing home so I do a lot of lifting.
Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.

Answerhello,
I am having difficulty understanding your x-ray findings. If your headaches are due to a structural abnormality then exercise is probably your best bet. You may want to start a stabilization program for your cervical spine. This involves strengthening the muscles in the front of the neck while stretching those in the back of the neck.
Also you need a diagnosis for your headaches. There are many different types of headaches: migraines, cluster headaches, tension headaches, cervicogenic headaches etc. Regardless the stabilization program will be beneficial.
Good luck!
