i had went to allot of doctors like Orpheus, neurology, ENT. they found nothing and normal. i had my MRI on cervical spine & brain as well.  the only things found is loss of cervical lordosis, mild disc bulges on C3,4,5,6,7. i did went to 2 chiropractors. they adjusted my neck. now the dizziness reduce a little but its change to like my scalp are very tight. some said is TMJ, but i dont have any jaw pain at all. Please help & give some opinion. it's very difficult to get a good chiropractor here.

Hello Andrew,

I am sorry for your complaints/ pain/ condition.  Hopefully I can give you some information which may prove helpful.  If I do not give you enough info,,,, do not hesitate to REcontact me here at AllExperts.com:  http://www.allexperts.com/ep/965-100794/Chiropractors/Victor-Dolan-DC-DACBSP.htm  you may also try my website: http://DrVictorDolan.net .

You say that you have been to 2 Chiropractic Doctors (DCs) and that the dizziness did change a bit for the better,,,, why did you switch doctors?  Your complaints sound like the type that would probably respond to conservative chiropractic treatment.  How long did you go?  Chiropractic works WITH the body to heal, similar to acupuncture, massage or nutrition- so sometimes it takes time.

Dizziness, vertigo, headache- these things usually respond well to Chiropractic.  A leading Chiropractic Neurologist has actually written a book about such complaints.  I ask my Staten Island Dizziness, vertigo  patients to read the book:  http://www.amazon.com/Medications-Treatment-Dizziness-Fibromyalgia-Conditions/dp... ,
YES, Chiropractic Doctors (DCs) have specialties--- very similar to our Medical Doctor (MD) counterparts, see:  http://www.acatoday.org/userImages/File/Microsoft_Word_-_Approved_Chiropractic_S...(1).pdf .
Chiropractic is very effective upon Musculo-Skeletal complaints, just ask my Staten Island Neck Pain / Back Pain patients.  Indeed- ask any DC about headaches, neck, back pain- Chiropractic can work wonders.   But, many people do not realize the NEUROLOGICAL impact of Chiropractic- this book by Dr. Johnson:  "What Do You Do When the Medications Don't Work? A Non-Drug Treatment of Dizziness, Migraine Headaches, Fibromyalgia, and Other Chronic Conditions [Paperback]
Michael L. Johnson (Author)"  helps explain about Headache, Vertigo (Dizziness), and Tinnitus.
I highly recommend it to you.

You state:  ".....i had went to allot of doctors like Orpheus, neurology, ENT. they found nothing and normal. i had my MRI on cervical spine & brain as well.  the only things found is loss of cervical lordosis, mild disc bulges on C3,4,5,6,7.....".  Chiropractors; in our evaluations; may order Xrays, MRIs, CTs, EMGs, NCVs, Bone Scans, Bone Density, Blood Tests, EEGs, EKGs-- all of the tests  that an MD may order to fully EVALUATE a patient.
I love working hand in hand with our Medical Colleagues.  You have run a gamut of Medical Doctors, you have had a plethora of medical tests,,, and it sound like the MDs have not found a MEDICAL pathology to explain your problems.  This opens the door that your complaints may NOT be due to a MEDICAL pathology,,,, but may be due to a CHIROPRACTIC pathology= the Vertebral Subluxation Complex.
You have stated that some of your complaint reduced under Chiropractic care; you have stated the MDs find you 'normal'; I would say this points to trying a regimen of Chiropractic care.
Chiropractic works NATURALLY with your body.  Just as exercise TAKES TIME to build muscles, just as proper nutrition TAKES TIME to lose weight, get fit, Chiropractic TAKES TIME so you NEED PATIENCE when under a regimen of chiropractic care.
Give your local Doctor a chance to work with you in a regimen of Chiropractic care.

I am not very familiar with the Chiropractic Profession in Singapore, but I did look up a couple web pages that may be helpful to you:
Chiropractic in Singapore: http://chiropractic.org.sg/ ,  Practitioners in Singapore: http://chiropractic.org.sg/association-registered-chiropractors.html , and make sure your Doctor graduated from one of these accredited schools:  http://chiropractic.org.sg/accredited-chiropractic-institutions.html .

Now, you state; "....i had my MRI on cervical spine & brain as well.  the only things found is loss of cervical lordosis, mild disc bulges on C3,4,5,6,7.....".  Chiropractic is all about the Nervous System and it's protective covering- the skull, spine, pelvis.  'Loss of the cervical lordosis' usually indicates some type of past trauma to the spine- perhaps an automobile accident, severe fall, or perhaps even a lifetime of sleeping on the stomach (improper and damaging to the spine!).  This loss of the cervical curve may not be important to our MD counterparts- but to the DC- this loss of the natural curve shows a SPINE IN TROUBLE and can sometmes lead to the symptoms you list: dizziness, vertigo, neck pain, upper back pain, shoulder pain, etc.
Those disc bulges- also significant to the Chiropractic Doctor.  These disc bulges show a spinal joint in 'trouble', show signs of damage, deterioration, of past injury.
My Staten Island Auto Accident patients, indeed- my neck pain patients get this explanatory information when they visit my chiropractic office:

慥SC?  the    Vertebral  Subluxation  Complex     (aka:  the  揝ubluxation?

Many times a patient will come to the Doctor of Chiropractic ?憛as a last resort厭,  often  after  憛.everything else has been tried??  This is frustrating to the Doctor (the DC),  yet also satisfying.  Frustrating?, Satisfying?, ,,,why?-  Many times a symptom, an ache a pain, a condition can be caused by the 慡ubluxation??the 慍hiropractic Lesion?  Just as germs, the Virus or Bacteria- is the 憁edical lesion?(- the MD looks for germs, the DC looks for subluxation).   Many times an unexplained condition, after exam after exam, blood tests, Xray, MRI, EKG, EMG, etc., etc., --- Chiropractic can help the patient.  Why- because only a Doctor of Chiropractic will check for subluxation- as well as run the 憈raditional?tests.

Only a Doctor of Chiropractic will evaluate and treat for VSC, as well as other pathology.

The course of VSC is highly variable.   Some patients with VSC literally cannot walk, yet other patients with similar test findings may be able to run marathons or lift heavy weights.    Some patients immediately develop symptoms related to the VSC,  some patients take years to develop symptoms.  Some people suffer for only a few days with pain and symptoms, some people suffer for months.  Some people recover in days, some take months or years, depending upon severity of the condition.

A subluxation interferes with the proper functioning of the nervous system (the master system which controls and coordinates all function within the body) and may cause various other conditions, symptoms and problems.

Subluxation  is  a  serious  condition  identified  by  its  five  parts:

Spinal Kinesiopathology:        This is fancy way of saying the bones of the spine have lost their normal motion and position. It restricts your ability to turn and bend. It sets in motion the other four components.
Neuropathophysiology:         Improper spinal function can choke, stretch, or irritate delicate nerve tissue. The resulting nerve system dysfunction can cause symptoms elsewhere in the body.
Myopathology:           Muscles supporting the spine can weaken, atrophy, or become tight and go into spasm. The resulting scar tissue changes muscle tone, requiring repeated spinal adjustments.
Histopathology:       A rise in temperature from an increase in blood and lymph supplies result in swelling and inflammation. Discs can bulge, herniate, tear, or degenerate. Other soft tissues may suffer permanent damage.
Pathophysiology:     The VSC contributes to OsteoArthritic degeneration.  Bone spurs and other abnormal bony growths attempt to fuse malfunctioning spinal joints. This spinal decay, scar tissue, and long-term nerve dysfunction can cause other systems of the body to malfunction.

The Vertebral Subluxation Complex describes what happens when spinal bones lose their normal movement patterns and position.  When subluxated, joints are in a stressed, vulnerable, compromised condition.  Subluxation may cause Arthritis, Disk Herniation, or aggravate such conditions.
Vertebral  Subluxation   cannot   be corrected through chemicals (medicine), stretching,  yoga,  vitamins  or  physical  therapy  alone.       Subluxation- a neuro/skeletal/muscular-    mechanical-    problem  requires  a    mechanical correction-  -  -    a manipulation,         best  performed  with  the  chiropractic  adjustment.

Often we can cover up the cause of the problems by seeking SYMPTOMATIC RELIEF.  Be careful of treating symptoms- without actually treating the CAUSE:

PAIN

Pain  is a  憆ed light on the dashboard?
RED  LIGHT  =   Trouble !!

Pain  is  your  body  telling  you  that  something  is  wrong.
Think  you  should  listen??

That RED LIGHT on the dashboard of your car-
-- do you ignore it until the car breaks down,
or do you get it checked and correct the problem?

Pain,
pain in your body-
-- do you ignore it until your body breaks down,
or do you get it checked and correct the problem?

Pain,
do you cover up the pain by taking a painkiller?

Take a painkiller, mask the pain, and allow a problem to progress in your body?

Pain  Killing  medication???  =    16,000  deaths   ( probably  under-reported )
DEATH ! ? ! ?    better   watch  out  on  those  medications!!!

                             NOTICE  ON  PAIN  RELIEVERS:

Label changes ORDERED by FDA;  the FDA announced proposed label changes for OTC over-the-counter pain relievers to  include the potential for stomach bleeding and liver damage (FDA news  206- 207;  12-9-06) ;
SIXTEEN THOUSAND DEATHS: "Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are effective medications for the treatment of many chronically painful medical conditions. However, it is estimated that 25% of all serious adverse drug reactions involve NSAIDs, with more than 100,000 hospitalizations and 16,000 deaths occurring annually due to NSAID-induced gastrointestinal (GI) events."----- http://hhc.sagepub.com/cgi/content/abstract/13/6/468   Home Health Care Management & Practice, Vol. 13, No. 6, 468-475 (2001)  Motrin, Advil = NSAIDS

The  American Heart Association issued a scientific statement  recommending medical doctors change the way they prescribe OTC pain relievers from a first choice  to an alternate of recommending non-pharmacologic treatment (AHA statement  2-26-07).

NSAID Acceleration of ARTHRITIS; an important side effect of Aspirin and other NSAIDS is that it will inhibit cartilage repair and accelerate cartilage  destruction ( Journal of Rheumatology, 1982; 9: 3- 5 ).   Many times people take NSAIDS  for  the pain of Arthritis,  not realizing these drugs may make the underlying condition worse.   These medications  cover  up  the  pain,  and  cause  the  problem  to   worsen.

= An analysis of 168,900 autopsies conducted in Florida in 2007 found that three times as many people were killed by legal drugs as by cocaine, heroin and all methamphetamines put together.    BE  CAREFUL  WITH  THAT  MEDICATION !!!
It was reported in 2000, that 700,000 U.S. citizens die as a result from medical causes (iatrogenics). Of course, other records and statistics had the number above the one million mark. Whether 700,000 or one million people, that's a lot of innocent people dying from visiting a hospital and trusting a medical doctor.= http://www.dherbs.com/articles/iatrogenics-99.html

Pain  can  often  be  the  result  of  the  Vertebral  Subluxation  Complex.
Vertebral Subluxation  is  actually  a  quite  common  condition.   Doctors of Chiropractic look for pathological conditions which may require referral to other specialties,   and also look for 慡ubluxation? Other disciplines look for pathology, but overlook the importance of alignment and movement in the spine which affects our nervous system  (the master control system- ALL health disciplines learn this).  VSC- 慡ubluxation??can be the cause of many symptoms and conditions.

Only  a  Doctor of Chiropractic  will  evaluate  and  treat  for  VSC,   as  well  as  other  pathology.

You say; "....it's very difficult to get a good chiropractor here. ...."- this is so very true, it is so hard to get a good doctor of ANY kind ANYwhere.  I recommend you talk with your neighbors- get a referral from satisfied patients, go online- check the websites I recommended above.

Some more information on the Vertebral Subluxation:

You ask;  "....Please help & give some opinion. it's very difficult to get a good chiropractor here.....".  First, let me say it sounds like you have had a THOROUGH Medical Workup.  Chiropractors are often the LAST doctor that patients go to, after exhausting the Medical treatments available.  Often Chiropractic can then find a 'chiropractic condtition' (the vertebral subluxation) that upsets balance in the body.  Chiropractic adjustment can then, in turn, start to reduce that subluxation complex; balance can be restored in the body; and progress towards BETTER HEALTH can be made.
Given your myriad of complaints, I would try a Doctor of Chiropractic, or perhaps a Medical Neurologist.  Talk to your friends, go online, investigate the doctors in your area, investigate your complaints- i.e.: online, and take the best approach you can find in your area.

I hope I have given you some insight.

Good Luck in returning to Good Health!
