Question
Hello. I have a situation and was wondering if you could help. I have a crooked neck. my head naturally slants the the right and if i straighten it, it feels akward. I took an xray of my neck when i was a child and it is in fact crooked. It seems the base of my skull sits incorrectly on top of my neck. I have been having headaches at the back of my head and neck pain recently (i am now 29). I wonder if that is related.
I have researched a condtion called torticollis in which i may have been born with it and it was never corrected. I have learned that the face being crooked may result in uneven features and my eyes and eyebrows are uneven the lower ones towards my tilt to the right.
On that note, the cases i've seen on the internet are extreme compared to mine. They seem to have extreme deformaties in their facial features. I have them and notice them, but they are slight to the point of no one really noticing until i point it out.

Have you heard of this or encountered it? I want to know if this condition is bad for me. Please let me know. Thank You.

Answer
I have encountered this many times. You may just have scoliosis or a mis aligned neck without torticollis. I can't diagnose you over the internet, but you need to fix the misalignment issue right away. I suggest you see a chiropractor. Headaches are most often caused by tension in the neck. If your neck is crooked, then you certainly have tension causing your headaches. It is extremely easy to fix the headaches with chiro care. You should see someone 2-3 times a week for 4-8 weeks and they should be completely resolved.
