QuestionRecently, I've been attempting to fix my slouching posture that caused me lower back pain. My low back pain has indeed eased since I started working on correcting it, but I'm starting to notice a slight discomfort in my upper back that turns to light pain when I bend my neck forward. Is this because of my body not used to sitting like this? Is it normal for such a thing to happen? I'm a little worried because of the pain when I bend my neck.
AnswerDear Justin,
There is not much for me to go on here... but I will give you some thoughts. Yes, a change in posture can have some effects on other areas, but this is not always the cause of symptoms elsewhere.
Neck pain can be caused by a lot of conditions. If I were you, i would consult with a chiropractor to see if there is something wrong with your neck and back, and if there is treatment for you.
Good luck Justin,
