QuestionHello,
I am experiencing a very annoying and bad case of forearm tendonitis. I have been struggling with this for well over a year. I have tried ice, ibuprofen, massage, etc. and would like to find a solid remedy to "cure" my problem.
If this is an old injury, what are my chances of healing it properly to regain maximum function?
Do you think tightness in the shoulders can also inhibit blood and nerve flow to squeeze off the supply to the tendons? Would you recommend massage to open pathways?
How beneficial is stretching?
I love to crochet and have been experiencing a difficult time doing what I love due to pain, aches, shooting pain and overall discomfort.
I would appreciate any advice to help point me in the right direction.
Thank you for your time!
AnswerThere are two types of tendinitis in the forearm. Tennis elbow (outside of the elbow pain) and golfers elbow on the inside.
I think hands Down the best and most effective treatment is a new modality called cold laser or low level laser therapy. Make sure web doing it that you keep all appointments and depending on the laser it
Takes 10-15 sessions. The laser is safe , no side effects, inexpensive and effective.
I use it all the time on tendonitis with amazing results. Many chiropractors or physical therapists use this laser. You
Just need to call or google doctors tha use it and go from there.
Good luck!
