reverse c of the neck and hip pain

Question
Dr Arnone,
A couple of years ago I went to a chiropractor for neck and shoulder pain and she diagnosed me with a reversed c of the neck.  She had also said one hip is more forward than the other.  For about 12 visits she pushed on my back and cracked my neck.  I was so sore a few days after the visits that I stopped going to her.  I have had a sore right hip for years and had an xray done and was told there was no problems and sent on my way. The last couple of months I am now having issues with my right hip.  I went to an orthopedic dr and had an xray done of my hips and he said he thinks I have tendinitis in my hips.  He gave me a prescription and some exercises to do and I go back to see him 10/22.  Could my hip issues be caused from my neck issue?  I am getting really self conscious of the bump on my neck. Any ideas on what could be going on?
Thank you!

Answer
Miss Donna,
If you indeed do have a reversed cervical curve then there will always be problems associated.
It will always displace the involved discs and can cause accelerated degeneration as well as numbness or tingling in the arm, hand, fingers.
Besides how you look and how you feel, I am most concerned with how you function.  This situation can contribute to or cause more serious health risks and therefore I highly recommend getting analyzed correctly by a brainstem specialist like myself. This literally can make a difference that can change the rest of your life.
You should also know that if there is an Upper Spine Subluxation, there is always brainstem pressure which affects all function to the body as well as alter posture of your pelvis.
General Chiropractic is great for some  people but many people are in need of more precise, specific, accurate and conservative care in order to truly get well.
This is why I tend to see many patients from other cities and states and it is worth their time and money to do so in order to correct the cause of their problem.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
All the best,
