No injuries, no trauma, no airplanes.I haven't been sick at all this winter. My family sad it could be diabetes but I don't have the symptoms with it. Do I see a regular doctor? QUESTION: My periods have always been irregular. Last 3-5 days. I don't have a regular doctor. My neurologist just talks about medicine and does exams. Like walking straight, arms out, etc. I have not had a blood pressure test or checkups in years. I don't have health insurance. I go to a hospital that I have to wait hours to see a doctor. If I see a regular doctor there, I have to wait all day because its free. My last neurologist appt was in December. Medicine always caused hair loss. Eyebrows are fine. Can lack of sleep cause this?
AnswerHello,
Lack of sleep could certainly add to or make the problem worse but I don't think it is the real underlying reason you are having dizzy spells. With that said you are either experiencing sugar handling problem(s) and/or have suspected hormonal imbalances. This is a situation where you need a hands on physical examination. I highly suggest you go to healthcare professional who practices functional medicine/nutrition. I suspect sugar handling issues and either thyroid and/ or female hormonal imbalances. You would need to have certain blood work done to rule in or rule out any of the above I have mentioned.
I need you to understand I am not diagnosing you with any of the above but trying to give you information so that you can be seen by a healthcare provider in your area. Your symptomatic picture goes way above and beyond what this forum can provide.
I wish there were more that I could say to help you but you really need to see a healthcare professional in your area.
Also as much as I disagree with Obamacare it is my opinion that it is set up for people in your situation and at least you could apply and get some coverage so you could see the appropriate medical healthcare provider.
I will be happy
