Question
I have not injured my neck, but I am hearing a popping or cracking sound in my neck when I turn it.  Can you tell me why this is happening and can it be stopped?  My neck has been feeling a little stiff and tight lately.

My name Is TOM.
I Was Wondering when Someone Was going to write this question, My Answer, Betty James.
This is a wonder to myself also! I do also have this same " popping". And, Cracking in My neck.
I Can tell you what i think is the Cause, And the Reason.
Then, I will Stop, Go back to a place Where i can find out the Correct information, Then, I will E-Mail you back, & Write you the Correct reason's, And causes To that funny, Kinda Scary " pop " in our neck's. Should not take me more than 2-3 Day's top's. In the mean time, Here is my Opinion.
Our Bone's, And muscle's, And Joint's When they are subject to frequent use , and extreme friction, The bone's, And joint's in our body's tend to wear, Therefore causing spurring. This, And other element's of wear, Will create sound's of popping, If not down right creaking in the bone's.
