QuestionI have had a problem that has occured on the right side of my abdomen, which escallates to the right side of my back. Doctors keep saying that it may be a muscle problem, and to just keep taking advil. I have lived with this pain for almost 1 year now. Is there any type of procedure to tell if this problem that I'm experiencing actually IS a muscle related issue? Would an MRI check for pulled muscles, etc? Or is there any type of test that would tell me for sure that I have a muscle problem?

Just because a pain feel like a muscle problem does not mean it is a muscle problem. Or a muscle may be involved but the muscle may be aggravated by an organ.
When one has a pain in the right side of the abdomen, I always think of the ilio cecal valve. It is between the large and small intestines, next to the appendix. And it relates to the ilio psoas muscle. If the Iliio cecal valve is irritated, it can cause a spasm in the ilio psoas muscle and the effect of that muscle spasm goes all the way up to the ear.
Advil will make an ilio cecal valve problem worse, it irritates the gut as a whole.
I suggest you go to www.sorsi.com or www.icak-usa.com or www.holistichiro.com and look for a good wholistic doctor near you. Let them check this out, this has been going on long enough!
