Question
My husband was in an accident almost 2 years ago.  One year after the accident he developed discitis.  He was given massive doses of gentamyacin and vancomycin which destroyed his vestibular system.  He is walking much better now, however, he has been complaining lately that his tailbone hurts.  What could have caused this?

Thanks for writing!

Yes, modern American drugs and surgery have their strong points. But, they are overused since they make a lot of money for a lot of people. And are sold as being quick and easy.

The side effects are sometims horrendous, as you have found out. And very often they delay proper treatment which would get to the root of the problem and fix it, safely and effectively.

Even at this late date, a good chiropractor could help your husband, not just with the tail bone pain but also with the discitis. That is nothing more than an inflamation of the disc, the cushion between the bones in one's back.

An increase in water intake and Vitamin C would act to reduce the inflamation. Also, a lot of herbs and other safe, effective treatments are available which do not have all of the side effects of drugs.

There are good chiropractors out there who could help, by putting the bones back in place which were moved by the accident. Go to www.sorsi.com, www.icak-usa.com and/or www.holistichiro.com and look for a chiropractor near you.

Does this answer your question?

Is there anything else you would like to say or ask?

Write and let me know how it goes.
