QuestionMy lower back started hurting a little over a month ago. For about two weeks I was taking 12-16 advil a day to be able to function throughout the day. Then the pain magiclly went away. And last night, I was at a store bending over my hands about a foot from the ground, and I heard a pop inn my lower back, and felt instant pain. Within 10-20 seconds I felt nauseous. My vision became clouded and I was seeing yellow blotches. And within 1-2 minutes of feeling the pop, my hearing became muffled. I felt like I was going to pass out. I quickly went and sat down. Within 5 minutes of sitting down, my vision and hearing became normal, and I no longer felt I was going to pass out. The pain is horrible. I can't bend over. If I run my fingers over an area on my spine theres is a bump of some kind. I don't know if I popped asomething out of place or not. All I know is I am in massive, massive pain. My health insurance will be active on August 1st. I am 25 years and am also a waitress. What could I have done? What could this be? Thank you for your time.

Thanks for writing!
That many advil per day will cause liver damage. Read the label on the bottle.
At this point, it appears there is enough stress in your spinal cord that the whole system is ready to pop. When you bent over, the body popped a bone in your spine into a different position to get some of the tension out. But it hurts for the bone to be there.
If I were in your shoes, insurance or no insurance, I would get to a good chiropractor and see if it can be sorted out and corrected. Go to www.sorsi.com, www.icak.com and www.soto-usa.com and look for a good chiropractor near you. They can investigate and get to the root of the situation.
Of cousrs, drinking enough water will cure most anything and I would get on at least 100 ounces per day by measure, not be esimate.
Next to water, Vit. C is the greastest detoxifier on the planet. You should take it until your get diarreha. The food form Vit C is best. Start with about 10 times the recomended dosage and increase the dosage daily from there.
There is a great book out there by Dr. Batmanhelidj "Dealing with back and Joint pain-----". See if you can get a copy of that and follow the directions.
