Was this an on the job injury? If so, the doctors they send you too usually try to minimize the injuries to keep the costs down. They do not really try to solve it.
Yes, it is true that some people have herniated bulging disc in their back but are not hurting.
This does not change the fact that you are hurting and you have a herniated disc.
The difference between the two conditions is the state of the spine and the condition of the body. Your spine probably has more twisting and tension in it which is causing the pain. And the cartilage was weaker or more squashed before the accident, which makes your injuries more painful.
Yes, one can have "carpal tunnel" in your fee, only then it more correctly called "tarsl tunnel". The feet themselves are breaking down, like the rest of the body.
If these two injuries were on the job, I suggest you hire a lawyer so that you can get the proper payments. But, the medical doctors will likely want to operate, which sometimes does not solve the problem, only covers it up.
There is a great book out there by Dr. Batmanghelidj, M.D. "How to deal with back Pain----" Get a copy of that and follow the directions.
Go to www.sorsi.com, www.soto-usa.com or www.icak.com and find a good chiropractor near you. They can investigate the entire spine and get to the root of this problem, including the part that is in the feet and solve it.
