Question
two weeks ago a got a severe pain in my left side behind my ribs.  less than two hours later I became numb from my left ribs down to be toes on my complete left side.  MRI, CT, Spinal Tab are all negative.  I am still completely numb but am regaining some control of my left leg I feel due to the steroids they have my on. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Sounds like nerve impingements.  Surprised that MRT and CT didn't show that.  Perhaps the doctors were all looking for something affecting your internal organs.

The severe pain was probably muscular, compressing your spine.
