QuestionI would like to know what other options besides medication (pain killer, muscle relaxants) and chiropractic (have used for years but had adverse reactions (dizziness, nausea, headache, neckache)from last adjustment) I could utilize to help reduce chronic neck and tmj disorder related pain and stiffness
AnswerI am biased, but educated in both medical and chiropractic fields, and the best suggestion I have is chiropractic. But not all chiropractic is the same. I am a member of a group of chiropractors the "specialize" in TMJ along with most everything else in the body. The group is SOT (sacro occipital technique) and we use low force (not a lot of "popping and cracking") technique to treat patients. I strongly suggest trying it, like I said, not all chiropractic is the same and if you go to the website, www.sorsi.com, you can see what all we do, or you can go to my website at www.healinghandschiro.com also. I am in St Paul, Minnesota and would be more than happy to see you, or if you have any other questions or concerns, please email me.
