Questionmy 13 year old son was involved in an automobile accident a few months ago. He is experiencing a persistent popping in his neck. This popping has occurred since the accident. He also complains often with a headache. Is it possible that he has sustained an injury to the neck more than a whiplash?
AnswerIt's possible, but the muscular contractions that form in the neck during such an incident are sufficient to account for his popping, without more of an injury being present.
Please see my article on whiplash injuries at somatics.com/page4.htm.
