QUESTION: Recently, whenever i turn my neck to the right it makes grinding or popping
noise.  This is really annoying and I am concerned as it should not be happening
to me at this age.  Please help

Hi Matt,

I can help; if it grinds, not only pops (which is a big difference) it probably is osteoarthritis(OA).

OA is treatable with over the counter supplements. They are usually sold together, glucosamine sulfate and MSM.

If you have OA at such an early age, there must be a history of trauma.

If you are mistaking the sound for "popping" which is normal, then I wouldn't worry about it.

OA usually hurts when the weather changes, if it does, get an x-ray to confirm the diagnosis.
