A co-worker twisted my neck while putting a choke hold on me. I now have severe pain in my left arm and shoulder, and bouts of dizziness. I had a cat scan which showed swollen discs in my neck, and they said I had sprained or torn muscles. what should I do next, have a MRI or see a chiropractor?

It's really difficult to say because I have no way to know the extent of the injuries.  I would consult the doctor that referred you for the CAT scan to see if a follow-up by MRI is appropriate.

Your doctor should also be providing you with some kind of information regarding a treatment plan.  I would avoid a chiropractor at this time until you are told the full extent of the damage.  With full information on your injury, you can make a much better decision for the next step.
