QuestionI have had dizziness for a year and all tests show negative and I also went to an ent and was negative
I had an mri of my neck and spine just done and here are the results
1. mild levoscoliosis with right-sided neural foraminal narrowing at c2-3
2. old-appearing degenerative mild wedge deformities at c5 and c 6
3. degenerative disc space narrowing at c5-6 and c6-7 with mild ap canal and neural foraminal narrowing at these levels
My doctor referred me to pain mgmt on wednesday as I am not doing well at all
He said the headaches and dizziness were from the neck problems is this true?
Thank
AnswerYes it is if you had a brain MRI to rule out MS. If that is negative than the symptoms can easily be from the neck.
If so, get towel traction not drugs since this will only mask symptoms. Home traction units work well as an adjunct as well. A local Chiropractor that comes highly recommended should be able to address the cause instead of covering symptoms. If you need a referral, I will help you.
Good Luck!
