I was in a accident a few months back. I have been told that I should have an mri. I went to my primary care he told me he would not write anything up cause it sounds like a suit. My question is how can I get an mri is there a clinic I can go to? Any help would be appreciated. I live in the Sacramento area.

Hi Denise,

Get a PI lawyer first, he/she will send you to a doctor that deals in these matters. The MRI will be ordered and settlement should follow upon release, usually 2x medical bills. So, if your medical bills add up to 3K, an average settlement would be 6K. This is then divided by 3 so you get a third for pain and suffering, the doctor accepts his cut and the lawyer gets their third. I hope that made sense.
