QuestionHi,
I would be grateful if you could help understand my recent Mri scan of my back done. I have had a lot of pain in my back and referred pain down both my legs for 9 years on and off. I have been told that my back is all right because it doesn't have any nerve compressions, only wear and tear.
I'm confused as to why I am having pain down my legs.
My mri report was scanned from T11/12 disc ,down to L1/2 and S1 . It stated that there was normal thoracolumbar lordis and bony alignment.S1 transitional. The conus medullaris is normal in calibre and signal and terminates at the lower border of l1.The is disc dehydration T11/T12 and T12/L1. The are schmorl's nodes in upper and lower end plates of T12. Further disc degeneration is noted at L5/S1 and S1/2. There are no focal disc protrusions at any level. The spinal canal and exit foramina are capacious with no evidence of nerve root or cauda equina distortion.
I am very confused as my prognosis before i was told i have Spinal stenosis. Please help if you can,as any answer would be grateful in understand what this all means. As i am 31 years old and looking for a way to manage my pain and not getting much answers.
thanking you
Mrs P
AnswerMrs P,
The problem is not what you are being told it is that you are consulting with them in the first place. There is a problem that is jumping right out at them and they are too blind to see it. You need to gather all of your pictures, and results and get out of there. If you stayed with them you would get worse until they would tell you that they can do a surgery on you, and then you would get even worse and have to take drugs and still not get any better. Is that what you want out of your LIFE?
The next thing that you are to do is take those pictures and results to an Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic. This is the Doctor that can locate and help correct the cause of your abnormal health without harmful drugs or surgery.
If you would like a referral, send me your town and state so that I may send you to a specialist that can help you.
Hang in there, everything is going to be just fine, but when I give you the referral you will need to call that doctor at once and make your first appointment, because the longer that this goes on, the worse you will get.
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Rob Arnone
