Question
hi
thanks for considering my question.
3 year back i was suffering from spondylolisthesis L5/S1 for which i underwent an operation . and even 3 years back there was a disc protrusion T10-T11 but nothing was done about that . now i am feeling pain at that site without any history of recent trauma .
please help me and guide me what should i do regarding this new problem ?

Answer
Azadeh,
Well this does not surprise me one bit.  Anytime someone has a spinal surgery their LIFE and their health suffers as a result.  If you would have asked me a question about your health before the surgery I could have saved you from this, but at this point we cannot go back in time so we will deal with you from now on.
You can still have some improvement in your health and at the spinal level, but the surgery that you had will limit you somewhat, it will be directly proportionate to the amount of work that they did on your spine.
The reason that you had the spondylo in the first place was due to the effect of the Upper Cervical Subluxation, and having surgery does not correct that, so you still have the same problem that you had before, plus you have been cut into and had some parts put in/taken out of your body.
You still need to correct the cause of your problem, although as mentioned earlier your results will not be as good as they could have been had you not had any surgery.
I can refer you to a specialist that can help you and I suggest that you begin this relatively soon before too much more destruction sets in.
I am hoping that you are in America because this care is American Healthcare, so just send me your town and state so I can find someone for you.
If you are not in America you will need to make arrangements to travel to America and in that situation we would just have you make arrangements to come to our clinic in St Louis, Missouri for 2-4 weeks.
Nothing is bigger than LIFE,
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Rob Arnone
