Hello i was diagnosed with a bulging disc in my spine and neck about 6 years ago I have had chiropractice treatmnts and it help and couple cortisone shots But i still have pain in my back and spine mostly inflammation The job im in right now i have to bend and stretch to pull charts And it aggreavtes it I stay in pain  The pain feels like burning and brusing feeling pain up down my back and spine what can i do to releive the pain I put ice on it to relieve pain But i feel like i need to get out of this job It hurting me than helping me Thank you Carolyn

The bulging disc and the pain you're describing point to muscular contractions in the involved areas.

Ice may bring temporary relief, as may chiropractic, but cortisone is worthless in this situation; you need some training in muscular control and movement to recapture the ability to relax and free those muscles and their related movements.

When you do, your pain will be over.
