Questionhello
my sister has damaged her spine 6 years ago and her legs are paralyzed and she cant control her urine is their any way to help her plz tell me
AnswerBilal,
That depends on the extent of the injury and what was done as a result: Has her spinal cord been completely severed? Has she had surgical intervention and if so, what was done? Can you send me pictures from the MRI of the injury? Also any X-Ray pictures that may have been taken and if you have anything on the Cervical Spine that would help me very much.
Sometimes paralysis can respond favorably to THE SPECIFIC if the connections are still there, but the Brain MUST be connected to the Body in order for the Body to have proper function restored, that is where we would start off. If there is a situation where there is a complete sever of the spinal cord and the mental impulses are simply unable to reach the legs, then the legs would not be able to function correctly again.
Please send me whatever pictures of the injury you have and I would then be in a much better position to tell you if I would be able to help her or not, fair enough?
