Question
was recently in a head on collision that totaled both cars. ER stated that nothing was broken.  I have neck pain in the sides and back of my neck that limits movement. Dr said muscle spasms. I am more concerned with the numbness that runs across my upper back.My skin feels very tender to touch on the back of my upper arms and I have tingling and numbness that comes and goes in my ring and little finger on both sides. What could this be.

Muscular reflexes are triggered by the sudden movements of motor vehicle accidents.  They're keeping your neck muscles tight and affect the musculature all the way down your back.

Tingling and numbness indicates nerve impingement, again, usually due to muscular contractions.

The reflexes can be quieted by means of somatic training.
