Question
I am a 35yo female w/ no major health issues, Other than an occasional little low back pain due to profession. Recently, I a have been waking in the middle of the night and am with numbness and pain in the ringht hand affecting finger 1,2,&3. I can feel aching going up the lateral part of that arm. It actually started with the left arm first, bot not as severe. It seemed to only happen in the am, then by midday, gone. Now the numbness is lasting all day in my fingertips.  I am thinking some sort of pinched nerve C4,5?  But why would that happen so suddenly, and what should I do first?

Answer
Mandy,

There is a good chance that this has been in the making for years and has finally come to light.  Have you had any head or neck injury at some time in your Life?  Any birth trauma?  Any slips or falls?
Do you have any cervical spine Xrays or MRI's?  If so I would like to see them, if not you should at least get cervical xrays done as a start.  You can email then to me if that is easiest for you.
