We were in a motorcycle accident about a year ago - I was on the back behind my husband - we were going slow when hit head on - held my arm out so the right side of my body is what hit the ground.  The next day is when I started getting very sore - wen to the doctor and was told had soft tissue damage to my shoulder,neck area.  Hip was sore but not a concern compared to my shoulder and neck - gradually my hip has gotten worse as I am very active - clean for a living and now my shoulder and hip are bothering me a lot - going for physical therapy for my hip who feels there are two things going on - bursitis in my hip and now he feels I have a bulging disk also.  My question is do you think all of this is from the accident and how long will it take to heal or will I always have trouble?  For my shoulder the dr. has resorted to Naproxin and muscle relaxers which I don't take because don't like them so I generally just deal with the pain - my hip and spine everytime I go to the physical therapist he has me trying a different stretch which all seem to adgetate the area - it has gotten so bad over the past year that if I walk home from work (about 20 blocks) it really hurts.

For what injuries you have incurred you have 2 choices:
1) Keep doing what you have been doing and keep getting what you have been getting as a result
2) Do something that is designed to locate and correct the cause of your problem, which means not doing what you have been doing at all, and trying something completely different.

What you are doing right now does not correct the cause of your problem and therefore you should expect to not get well while doing this.
